University Admission Tests
If you are looking to complete any admission test for university places you will need to make your own arrangements. You may need to visit the Pearson Vue website for more information or search online for the test you wish to sit for more information.
Please be aware that these tests usually occur around October for entry the following September.
Entering the test will be required from August onwards.
S6F Exams
We have a varied schedule of Exams throughout the year and here is a general plan for 2025-2026.
(Please be advised that this schedule is subject to change and only forms a rough guide for the academic year and there will be other assessment periods provided by teachers for each subject)
November - GCSE Resits in English and Maths
December - Criminology Controlled Assessments
January - Level 3 Vocational exams series
March/April - Media Controlled Assessments
May/June Summer Series (4th May till 23rd June)

All Exam dates are displayed on the Exams noticeboard outside A003 and these lists also include room and seat information.
All students will also be able to check their own portal to see details for exams and this information is available on https://portal.s6f.org.uk
You will also be contacted via Teams and college emails throughout the year so please keep checking your messages.

Certificates Information
Certificates will be presented at the Awards and Presentation Evening on the 18th December 2025 for 2025 Leavers and you will receive an email regarding booking onto that event. We would love to see you there.
If you are unable to attend the event certificates will be available to collect from the Exams Office in the new year.
You can either:-
- Pop in with your ID and collect your certificates but wherever possible please contact exams to discuss suitable times using exams@s6f.org.uk
- Nominate someone to collect your certificates and email exams@s6f.org.uk to confirm who will be collecting them and again identify a suitable time. Please remind anyone collecting certificates we need to see ID and if we do not receive permission from the student then certificates cannot be collected.
- Request postage of your certificates which incur a small fee of £9 - please contact exams for the details of payment using exams@s6f.org.uk and we will verify your address.
Please ensure you collect your certificates within 12 months or they will be either sent back to the awarding bodies or securely destroyed in line with JCQ regulations. We also remind you to keep them in a safe place as any lost certificates will incur costs with the awarding bodies directly. S6F cannot issue any replacement certificates.
